Guess who just got cast in a new reality Tv show!?

I know! Information technology'southward called So You Recall You Can't Trip the light fantastic, and it's still pretty new, so it only has a small post-obit of just 1 croaking tabby cat.

For at present. But I'yard sure information technology's going to take hold of on soon. It has a winning formula.

The flavour premiere was concluding night…in my living room. Yeah, it aired while El Hub and I were watching So You Call up You Tin Dance, when after every i of the show's dance routines, we danced around our living room, hootin', hollerin' and twirling around like reject ninjas.

"Okay," one of united states of america would say in complete seriousness, "now it'southward time for our contemporary routine!" So, no matter what type of dance nosotros were supposed to exist doing, El Hub would end up doing the robot, and I'd do the cha-cha.

Being the merely contestants on the show, the odds of us winning this flavour are good. 🙂

It'southward fun, merely I really simply want to practice my Latin dance moves so that I could keep up with the three new $25 MAC Tropical Taboo Mineralize Blushes…

MAC Exotic Ember Mineralize Blush
Exotic Ember Mineralize Chroma, an orange with bronze pearl

Exotic Ember, Simmer and Sweetness Samba shimmy onto MAC shelves and into hearts and stores tomorrow (but they're available online now!), and they're ready to lead MAC girls (and guys) through a glamorous and tropic-themed routine on the dance floor.

Only don't be surprised if they try to hog the spotlight, because they're hella pigmented.

MAC Simmer Mineralize Blush
Simmer Mineralize Chroma, a burnt rose with peach and golden pearl

Hips grind, skirts twirl, heels spin and pare glistens as you work yourself into a frenzy on the dance floor. These blushes are a flurry of intense pigment and luminous, opalescent shimmer, and with whatever of them on your cheeks, you'll look similar yous've been shaking what your mama gave y'all all night long.

MAC Sweet Samba Mineralize Blush
Sweet Samba Mineralize Chroma, a dark pinkish with tan pearl

With MAC's Mineralize Blush formula, in that location's always the chance you'll run into a shade with chunky glitter that flies all over the place or an uber-frosty finish that acts similar a foghorn for your pores (Nosotros'RE KAREN'S PORES! Check US OUT, Y'ALL!!), only that hasn't been the case for me with any of these shades.

All iii have a shiny stop, which is typical of the Mineralize Blushes, only their smoothen comes from fine pearl particles that create flushed, bright cheeks that catch the lite without appearing metallic or frosty.

These blushes are as well pigmented, so if you want very dramatic, flushed cheeks for, say, a phase operation (which I think these would be awesome for!), then a regular ol' blush brush should suffice, but for everyday looks, I'd opt for a fan castor.

With a fan brush, I become the most natural results — a flush of color and an opalescent shine. Of course, you could always apply another layer (or two) for brighter cheeks.

Exotic Bister

Because these blushes are so pigmented, they should conform gals/guys rocking a tan well, although I call up lighter lovelies and pale princesses could as well rock 'em… May desire to keep those fan brushes nearby, though (and call up to swipe the bristles on a paper towel or napkin showtime to unload any excess product).

Some thoughts on the individual shades…

  • I call up Simmer, the burnt rose with slap-up golden pearl, is the most article of clothing of these three because, while pigmented, it's not overly brilliant. I can see information technology working well on nigh skin tones as the almost natural-looking ane here.
MAKEUP AND BEAUTY BLOG RATING: A
  • Sweet Samba, an intense pinkish with tan pearl, sure looks vivid on my cheeks! Employ a calorie-free touch with this one, and proceed a blending brush on standby. I really similar this one, but information technology does take piece of work.
MAKEUP AND Dazzler Blog RATING: B+/A-
  • Exotic Ember, an orangish with statuary pearl, tends to expect muddy if I overdo it. I don't experience like information technology'due south peculiarly flattering on my cheeks (makes 'em look kinda muddy, actually, similar I just finished mud-wrestling). Not my favorite one of the agglomeration, but it might be i to consider if you're a bronzed beauty or a nighttime-skinned damsel.
MAKEUP AND BEAUTY Weblog RATING: B
